FAQ
1) How are the courses delivered?
Most courses run live online via weekly sessions, supported by on-demand materials and discussion boards. Some are fully self-paced; see each catalog entry for the format.
2) What is the expected weekly time commitment?
Plan for 3–5 hours per week: short lessons, a craft exercise, and optional peer review. Advanced workshops may require more time for reading and revision.
3) Do I receive feedback from mentors?
Yes. Courses labeled “Mentor feedback included” feature commentary on key assignments. Others offer optional add-on critiques.
4) What if I miss a live session?
Sessions are recorded and posted within 48 hours, along with a summary and next steps. You can submit work asynchronously.
5) Do you offer certificates?
Upon completing required assignments, you can download a course certificate. We do not guarantee academic credit or job placement.
6) What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if less than 20% of the course is completed. After that, we offer prorated credit toward future courses.
7) How do you handle accessibility?
We provide transcripts, captions for live sessions, and alt text for all course assets. Let us know your needs via the contact form.
8) Are there prerequisites?
Beginner courses require no prior experience. Intermediate and advanced courses list recommended reading and skill expectations in their descriptions.
9) Can I gift a course?
Yes. Purchase as a gift in the cart and specify the recipient’s email during checkout. The recipient can schedule a cohort within 12 months.
